Natasha Felton, NP
I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience. I practice both integrative psychopharmacology and psychotherapy.
I started my career as a registered nurse working in acute inpatient psychiatry after attending Boston College for an undergraduate nursing degree. In 1997 I went back to school at UCSF to obtain my masters in nursing specializing as both an adult and a psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I spent the initial 17 years of my practice working with people affected by HIV, substance use and mental health issues. I have since started working at mind body 7 and continue to be excited to work with and get to know people.
I work with individuals 15 years old and older and specialize in substance use, depression, anxiety, difficulties relating to chronic medical conditions such as HIV, cancer and others.
I am a white cisgender woman, living in Brooklyn with my husband, 2 teenage children and our dog, Shadow. I grew up in Europe and speak Italian and Spanish.
I consider each person as an individual and work hard to get to know my clients. I hope to have the privilege of providing compassionate care to help you reach your goals and your optimal health.
I offer psychotherapy including EMDR, medication management, lifestyle modification, and mind body practices. My practice is informed by CBT, DBT, mindfulness and self compassion techniques. I strive to help you identify any limiting narratives and adjust them to more compassionate ones.
I look forward to working with you to help you achieve good health and a greater sense of well being.
